There is no single Chinese coin as famous as the Yuan Shi Kai Dollar. Commonly known as the "Fatman Dollar", they were first minted in 1914 and they were extremely popular due to their standardized weight and high silver purity. The dates of the Fatman dollars were 1914 (Year 3/三年), 1919 (Year 8/八年), 1920 (Year 9/九年), and 1921 (Year 10/十年).
